We had some major barn cleaning to do ....  the pens look great and it appears we had plenty of expert supervision.

Alternative Feed Sources

We have tapped into a local neighborhood farm that has left over Mung Bean sprouts.  They may be the culls from the days sorting as they process the days harvest or simply the #1 sprouts that did not sell and they come from the cooler and head to my truck.  The sheep / chickens really like the sprouts and will come running when we fill the troughs.

The sprouts grow in the white bin in another room and move to the trough of water that feeds the belt

Clean sorted #1 sprouts in the holding bin to be weighed and bagged for delivery

What hey can't sell we bring home almost daily and feed the chickens and sheep.
